 		Hi,
I know almost nothing about diamonds. My husband and I have inherited a beautiful platinum and emerald cut diamond ring. We have had two appraisals done and they range from $36,500 to $47,500. I love the ring, it is gorgeous, but will never wear it because of the size and the fact that I love my wedding ring. Anyway, we are interested in selling it to start a college fund for our little girl but have no idea where to start. We realize we are not going to get the appraised value of the ring, but we would like to know where to begin. The specs of the ring are total weight=2.69DWT emerald cut diamond=8.30mmX 7.34mmX 5.50mm and weighing 2.81cts. Clarity=VVS2 Color=G The ring is also set with two marquise cut diamonds and two round brillant cut diamonds. Any advise would be helpful.
