Who has more fire/dispersion anEightstar or A Cut Above? Also, will the new cut for ACA's with edge to edge light return make a difference in dispersion?

I sell both and I would tell you the Eightstar tends to have much bolder flashes of color where the ACA has more of the smaller pinpoints of color. The Eightstar also tend to have more dispersion under the table on the pavilion mains than any other diamond I've seen. I haven't seen the new ACA diamond so that would strickly be a guess, but the cutter said it wasn't a copy of the Eightstar but doesn't say how it differes just yet. Bottom line, slightly different looks but both beautiful diamonds. Cheers, |
