AmberGretchen Ideal Rock Total Posts: 7,046 Last Post: 11/11/2009 Member Since: 1/6/2005	Hello ladies - sorry I've been MIA for a while - lots to do at the lab, plus wedding planning plus taking care of mom as she recuperates sure keeps a girl busy. Anyway, I had to post because I am so excited - some of you may remember my post about my dress that I loved but it was too expensive (Here's a Link), well, I've found someone selling one on the Knot, for almost 1/2 off retail, its the same dress I have on in the pictures, except that its white instead of diamond white, which after seeing some pictures of it, I actually decided I like better. Here are some pictures of the Knottie in the dress: Dress I am SO excited ladies - its the same size as the dress I tried on, which I worried a tiny bit about because it was a bit small as you can see in the pics, but then I figured that's what corset backs are for, and my weight loss has been going well so there's no reason to think with another 11 months and 2 weeks (but who's counting ) I can't lose the 5-10 more lbs needed for the dress to fit perfectly, and if I lose more I can always get it taken in. Thanks to all of you who encouraged me to go for it

The best part about Maggie dresses is definitely the corset back. I lost an extra 2 pounds 2 weeks before the wedding (maintained my weight from when I bought it) and the dress still fit perfectly. I've seen pics of Maggie brides with the corset laced really tight and really loose (a non-existent V and a wide V) and they all look great! Be sure to post pics when you get it!

I checked out the pics on the bio, and I absolutely adore that close up shot of the front that shows the detailing in the bodice. That pic made it easy to see why you have to love the dress.
