They're wide ring jackets and you can get inserts and mix and match and stack...!!! The possibilities are mind boggling!

I have my local jewler in Tuscaloosa carries thoose and he will let me play with them when ever I come in!  They are so fun and they seem almost like a pratcialway to have things match your outfit.  I was thinking of getting one of the outters and maybe two inners for a friend for graduation. But I am still setting my budget (depends on how many of uagraduate when) .

That is so trippy! I was just about to post about these Hildago rings with jackets. I saw them in one of my Fashion Mags, and thought they were AWESOME. The great thing about these is that you can wear them without the inside part, and they'll look light, airy and lacy! |

I belive the outsides are about 700/800$ and the insides are pretty varied depending on what is inside, enamel, diamonds, sapp, rubies and the like.

ginger- how funny! i JUST saw a pic of those in the new instyle wedding mag, and I thought to myself, wow, those are neat... some of the jackets look like nice rings in and of themselves!!

I love some of the Hidalgo pieces. They usually stock a 6 and special orders can take a while. I recently reset of fishtail diamond band, 2 carat total weight, and I plan on buying two thin Hidalgos in the robins egg aqua) blue color. They are very versatile. Some places discount them, and there are other companies who make similar ones for less money. They are great to collect over time, make a great gift for mother's day etc...

 WOW!!! What fun!!!I knew about Hidalgo stackers, but hadn't seen these interchangeable "jacket rings"! I just discovered they have earrings like that too! Here's a pic of hoop earrings with interchangeable centers:
