Am inexperienced and looking for info. We are buying and engagement ring and can only afford about a 0.3 carat. Have found an ACA H&A on Whitflash that looks good. On cut advisor, gives a total of 1.7 with excellent ratings on all but spread.(Spread = very good). Color/Clarity = H/SI1. My question: Does quality matter as much on 0.3 carat as it does on a larger stone. I assume clarity on a small stone would not be as much of an issue as it is on a larger stone but what about cut? Are certain characteristics more important on a smaller stone? Any advice or info would be appreciated. ![]() Thanks! AnnD |

Yes it does. On smaller stones you can often go down further on color before it gets too tinted but other than that cut matters and eyeclean is eyeclean. ........... Karl has joined the diamond trade and is now posting as Karl_K |

With the PS discount this one is under $600. It would take you up to .40 for about the same money. http://www.whiteflash.com/diamonds/diamond_Details.aspx?itemcode=AGS-6206610# ........... Karl has joined the diamond trade and is now posting as Karl_K |
