I have a poorly cut 1.01 round diamond. It seems lifeless & dull to me. If I were to take it somewhere (don't know where, though any diamond cutters out there?) and have it cut- 1. What do you think the approximate weight would be after a very good cut? It doesn't have to be hearts & arrows for me. 2. What would the approximate cost be? 3. How long would it take?

around $300 per ct + ~150 or so for a recert + shipping for an ideal cut recut. super-ideal recut $800 per ct + ~150 + shipping. 8* recut depends on who you ask but around $1500-$2000 per ct. If your interested in the first 2 contact Wink and see if Paul is still offering it. www.winkjones.com ........... Karl has joined the diamond trade and is now posting as Karl_K |
