New white gold set, need help! |

HI all. I just had my engagement and wedding band reset in a white gold mounting. The jeweler told me that the rhodium plating will wear away within a month or so on the wedding band. I didn't realize at the time, but the engagement ring's rhodium plating has worn away giving it a yellow tone. The wedding band must have recently been plated because it looks like platinum, thats how white it is. What should I do? Should I go back to the jeweler and insist that he replate the engagement band so that it matches the wedding band? I probably won't replate every year, its not worth the time and money. Or should I just wait until the wedding band starts to turn yellow? Will the white gold definetely turn color and how long will it take??? Thanks for any input!
