How big must the difference in the spread of two diamonds be in order to distinguish a difference? Not through a scope, with the naked eye. For example, can the average person detect a difference between 6.16mm and 6.28mm? What size difference can you experts detect with the naked eye? Thanks P.S. I am looking to buy a 1 ct colorless round in the next 6 months. This site has taught me a lot! It is a wealth of good information.
