Can I get a little thread started on all those who like a substantial band? I love the look of the 1.5mm and thinner rings...however, they do not love me! Who's got some chunk on their hands?

I have short chunky size 7 fingers and the thinner bands go over my knuckle and just spin. The pave ring pictured is 7mm wide and the band is 4mm. I also wear this with 2-2mm plain bands on either side and it's still 11mm total. I can only wear the 7mm ring right now because I'm quite pregnant and my fingers are puffed up.![]()

Are you kidding me? You have beautiful hands. Actually, your ring was the one that made me consider my selection...which I should have shortly (I hope ). My pinkie ring is a size 5!! I always think it's got to be a typo when the ladies say size 3 and such. SIZE 3? Tiny hands. I have man hands. I joked on this forum about how much I love my feet, so maybe when the moment happens I will post "foot shots" instead!

Wow! I love all of these rings...I have a finger under a size 4 and slender but short fingers. I've always wanted to wear something more substantial but there's not a lot of space on my fingers!
What...you mean I have to decide!?! |

My wedding ring is 8mms wide. I wear it with one or two 2mm gold bands bringing the total to 10 or 12mms. I have long fingers, though, so I have a lot of finger to cover.

Yeah....I was kind of worried about getting a thicker band but then the jeweller told me that my old wedding set was 12mm. I was shocked. I have a huge space to clear too. That just means more!!!!

I LOVE wide bands. I wear a size 7 and thin bands just seem lost on my finger. Here are two pics. The first is my original e-ring band which is 12 mm wide (now that's wide, but I love it!).![]()

This second ring set is what I currently wear. It is an eternity band matched with a semi-mount. The semi-mount tapers but is right at 12 mm at the widest point.![]()

Here's my Radiant Ering (.91 ct). The ring is about 3.5 mm at it's widest point and my eternity band is 2 mm. The ering is from WF and the band from the Facets collection from SP (.53 ctw).![]()

Ivy, I love your set! I was wondering how that WF setting looked in person, from your photos it's amazing (of course your center stone plays a large role in that!) and you did a great job of finding something to complement its beauty with your SP band. Thanks for sharing!

Ivy I also love your set. It's beautiful and your hands look great! 10sne, I love yours too. The width is great...so much bling.

Here's mine. The ER is 3mm and the WR is 7mm for a total of 10mm. Even though I like wider bands I have trouble wearing these because my fingers are stumpy, not a lot of room between the knuckles. I usually wear my ER with an anniversary band which is 4mm at the widest stone. Michelle |
