Good morning, all! Thought I'd share one of my new rings with you - here's the story: started looking for an upgrade to my engagement / wedding ring (I don't wear a band) last fall. In the end, the old stone from my original setting went into a new, beautiful Vatche setting, and it has never looked better! The new stone went into a brand new setting, and the original setting is waiting patiently for a colored stone (daughter's birthstone maybe?). I will post the new stone / new setting in a separate thread. The setting was purchased from Superbcert / Excel Diamonds, and is a Vatche 3 stone, 18k WG, round center with side baguettes (G/VS, 0.3ct TW - but I think they are probably more like E-F color, as they look "whiter" than the G center!) Ring size 5.5 (to be worn as a "right hand ring"). Original e-stone: GIA cert only 0.52ct, G SI1 5.20-5.28 x 3.09mm D = 59.0% T = 61% G = m-t, faceted C = v small P/S = VG/G no fluoresence a decent "60/60" RB stone, as shown in the Brilliancescope that Barry was so kind to run for me while it was loose - Thanks to Barry and Judah at Superbcert for all their opions, knowledge, infinite patience, and professionalism at all times! The original setting is a semi-custom 14k yellow and white gold tension look (but actually has a bridge under the culet for stability):
