There is a summer pause in some cutting due to the vacation period. Basically, the idea is to move stones ASAP whenever a seller and buyer can settle on a parcel. De Beers sights are held 10 times a year, so there are not great surges and pauses in the markets. Some larger goods are harder to find than smaller, but don't look for that to change soon. If you see something that's right for you - go for it...in general, prices are not likely to decline in the near or distant future. Gary www.diamondexpert.com
