Hi Folks, I am trying to find a two-tone setting for my gf's e-ring. I would love to see you post yours here. I saw the post on three tone rings but I am mostly interested in just two. Thanks for your help! L

"Exceldiamonds" lists the more popular two-tone solitaires (white prongs, yellow shank) and Whiteflash has a couple more beside those. For what that matters, my pics would be the "Tiffany style" two tone or thated version by Lauer... ![]() ![]() Do you have a certain style in mind ? Do you want a yellow gold band with a white gold head, or white gold band with a yellow gold head. I know that Scott Kay (sp?) has some very popular two tone settings. I'm sure White flash can do something like that for you. Personally I like a white gold head/prongs for the diamond that way no yellow of the gold is reflected into the stone. Just a thought, HTH.

There are allot more Krementz designs on THEIR WEBSITE both in the bridal and emerald collections. Can't see why that one could not hold a diamond... (go down the link, the images cannot be linked in one piece). On weddingband.com just about every designer presented (out of a couple' dozen) has some two-tone models. For starters, A. Jaffe, Simon G, Judth Conway... and Craeynest (below). ![]()

Date: 5/15/2005 8:12:40 PM I love the two-tone rings. I have several. I actually have the Laureato, but mine is the half round shank instead of the knife edge. I really like it...but I miss it...WF has it right now putting a bigger stone into it...HURRY UP WF...LOL!Author: valeria101 'Exceldiamonds' lists the more popular two-tone solitaires (white prongs, yellow shank) and Whiteflash has a couple more beside those. The main reason I love the two tone is because I like both yellow gold and white metals. I have quite a bit of both, and sometimes I like to mix and match. When I got engaged, yellow gold was the popular setting for diamonds, so that's what I got. A few years ago, white gold and platinum started becoming more popular, and I liked that, too. I know that a lot of people when buying jewelry over time tend to stick with whatever metal their engagement/wedding rings are in. If you go two tone, you have many more possibilities I think.

Here is mine.....the heads are platinum, and the shank is 18K yellow gold. My 7-stone wedding ring is also done this way - platinum heads and 18K yellow shank. I'm a yellow gold wearer (better with my skin tone, etc), but I prefer to keep white metals around the stones so as not to give a yellow cast to them. ![]() _____________________ |

Here's my new upgrade. It's 18k yellow where the channel set diamonds are, and 18k white rolled on the edges and prongs. Stone is 1.4 I SI2.
