I recently received a price on a three stone engagement ring. I am seeing lower prices on the internet and I am trying to establish if I am receiving a fair deal. T he ring information is as follows:.85 G VS2, H&A, Ideal - $4100 .40 G SI1 (Pair) - total - $2000 Ring setting platinum - $ 1000

The price must be fair for the local seller... it just isn't the lowest possible. The center might be compared with THIS ($3300) and the setting with the version for .75 center by Vatche (link) although the details of custom work do make a difference and it is not possible to tell from the description how the ring offered by your shop compares. You can easily find more options like this using the search engine above. Every jewelry show must have some version of 3-stoen ring and the Vatche one is rather popular as well. Hope this helps
