Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find settings in Los Angeles without paying a premium? I've been looking over the internet, but without actually being able to see and wear the ring, it seems something so subjective as the ring is pretty hard to judge. The prices are great though! Anyway, any suggestions are greatly welcome for settings/bands. Thanks!

What I would suggest, to at least get ideas if nothing else, is to go down to the LA Jewelry District. You're not obligated to buy anything and you can try on ALL different types of settings to see what compliments your hand. Once you have that figured out, then you can decide if you want to get it online, or find a B&M jeweler who can get that setting for you... I bought my setting from the LAJD and bought my center stone from another dealer and had the 2nd dealer set the stone and size the bands for me...
