Does anyone know where to get inexpensive hairpins to add a little sparkle to my half-up-do? I've seen some that with the Swavorski crystals but those are awefully expensive. Ideas?

I'm addicted to their products and they have some beautiful hair clips and pins with the crystals...

If you live near a college campus check out where the sorority girls buy there stuff for formals....there are always a ton with those pins in their hair. You may also want to try Claires and the Icing. And depending on how thick your hair is have you tried looking in the kids department at your local department stores? They often have really cute ones and for less becuase they are intended for little girls, I am blond and have thin hair and these work great for me!

I used to get my sparkly hair accessories from Express when I worked there, although I'm not sure if they would have anything like that during this time of year ~ usually they have more formal items like that during the winter/holiday season... Maybe worth a shot though? ~teebee~ |

I found my hair thing at a little asian "trading company" that has all sorts of cheap costume jewelry and knockoff purses. It's called Amkor here but they had exactly what I was looking for and I bet they have st uff that will work perfect. They had a whole case of little hairpins.
