After spending weeks researching diamonds on PS, I bought my GF's engagement ring from Whiteflash. I surprised her with it. I am sooooo happy with it!! My fiance loves it too, and we agree it's the perfect ring. It is just so her.

Photography is also a hobby of mine, so I enjoyed photographing the ring.

I have a question though, about wedding bands. We're looking for something simple and smooth, no fancy work or anything. We've looked at, and tried on several different ones, but we both feel that even the narrowest the store had, a 2mm band, made just looked too wide with her e-ring, since she has very tiny hands to begin with.

So we're trying to figure out what to do. We could have a 1mm band custom made, or maybe some sort of wrap, but I really like the symmetry the ring has now. Any ideas?? Thanks!

I will take some hand shots this weekend, hopefully. Since we got engaged, I've been rather busy and didn't get around to it yet.

That's a beauty, for sure!

Great job with the photos, too. Congrats on your engagement!

I think a 2mm band will be just right-- could it be you're just not used to the look yet? I have tiny hands and I had a 2mm e-ring with a 3.5mm WB (until my 10th aniv upgrade, that is) and it was very comfortable and fit my finger size well.

Maybe when you post some hand shots, we'll be abl eto give more suggestions for the band.

Congratulations!  I love the royal crown setting, and nice job on the photos!

As far as the wedding band, I think we will need to see hand shots of the vatche on your fiancee's hand first.  But the vatche band looks somewhat thick -- I think a 1mm wedding band would just be too thin and would be overwhelmed by the e-ring band.

I love the ring...gorgeous...always love to see the yellow gold.

As far as the band, I agree that maybe you just have to get used to the band and the e-ring together.  2 mm sounds pretty good.

Another thing you could always do is wear the wedding band on one hand, and the e-ring on the other hand.  I do that a lot with my rings.

beautiful ring YG band with white head setting.

it is always harder to find a "mind clean" stone than a eye clean stone.

Awesome photos !

1mm wedding band might not exist (or hold together), but some below 2mm surely do. Will the band need to stand alone as well ?

Congratulations for the engagement of course

You have wonderful taste...that is my e-ring too   I knew it was the perfect ring for me as soon as I laid my eyes on it too (before I had ever heard of Vatche or even Pricescope, lol).  I also think that a 1 mm band would be way too thin.  Maybe you could get someone to custom-make a 1.5 or 1.75 mm band since you thought 2 mm was too wide.

Wow you did a great job with the ring and the photos! I hate to say go to the maul stores but alot of the zales and Kays have a variety of plain bands. You might try going and trying on differnt widths even if they arent the desgin you are looking for to see what sit comfertably with her lovely new e-ring. Also would she ever want to wear just her wedding band? If so a 1mm band might get lost on her hand. Good Luck. And again love that classic ring!
