cjfilm Rough Rock Total Posts: 11 Last Post: 4/27/2005 Member Since: 4/20/2005	hello, I have just purchased a pair of 1ct. stud earrings yesterday, I noticed today that the diamonds have a gray area on or in one of the diamonds. could some one tell me what this is, I can tell that its not dirt i tried to wipre it off but it stayed on the stone. for the price (upper thousand) is the bad or ok? any helpfull advice would be great! thank you. valeria101 Ideal Rock Total Posts: 14,048 Last Post: 4/30/2006 Member Since: 8/29/2003	Can't tell from description... but it could be a number of things: a cloud (inclusion) or a "nailhed" effect due to overly steep pavilion angle, or some flaw in the setting reflecting inside the stone. I would doubt G/Si2 given the price. If bought without certification, those might be closer to I/I1 or so.
