Hi there, I am totaly new on this forum so please forgive me if I am posting in the wrong section. I would like to know which type of knife they are using to make a deep and clean shining border on a micro pave setting ? Onglette, flat, round or knife ?? and which number ? (referenced to mm)

Well it is just that I am a professional diamond setter already for 17 years. I set almost 250 stones a day for different kind of clients. Recently I bought myself a microscope and the whole set from GRS -TOOLS. But now I see I can not use my old knifes anymore because they can not cut that deep without cutting away the beats. So they have to be adjusted to a certain angle. I am just wondering if they are using a normal onglette or a flat one... and on which degree they have sharpened it. Greets.
