Would any regentophiles be willing to look at this link and comment on this diamond that I am considering purchasing from GOG? Any comments would be appreciated. http://www.goodoldgold.com/regent_0_80ct_d_vs2.htm

Do you want a square or a cushion ? This one looks like a particularly "round" piece. It has quite a bit of "fish eye" (the discolored circle around the table in the IdealScope picture, also visible on the clarity pictures and the gemAdviser score...). It may or may not be visible in person - but it is in these super detailed pictures. Among the H&A squares, the Jubilee turned up the most "square" (IMO). If you wanted a square in the first place. For a roundish cushion, this is nice ![]() Ana "The greatest experts are only as good as the sum total of what they have seen." [Souren Melikian] |

HI Ho Regent Fan here...I prefer the cushier look of the Regnet to the squarey look of the Jubilee...While the stone has interesting characteristics...you might want to char wiht Jonathan at GOG to get the low-down...is there some reason you were looking at that one specifically...do you have the opportunity to viw these in person...he best way for fancies...IMO when the size gets smaller...the stones tend to lose their cushy-ness...did you have setting in mind...that makes a difference as well Best of Luck in your search diane |
