These might have already been asked and answered...sorry if these are repeats! -The Vatche X-prong as pictured on exceldiamond.com's site in 18K white gold is very appealing to me. Would a Jubilee cut work in this setting? I'm thinking a stone less than a carat? -I'm not a fan of the matching band with the curve exceldiamonds.com also has a plain 2.5mm band. That would work, right? If they don't fit flush that's OK but I need to be able to wear the band alone and the curved one won't work. -Any other bands out there that work well? What...you mean I have to decide!?! |

I don't know if you had the chance to search here under vatche x prong- you'll be suprised at the number of posts! My understanding is that Vatche will be able to custom fit many stones, you may want to contact Good Old Gold or Whiteflash to discuss x-prongs and jubilee cuts...www.dvatche.com and Whiteflash show both the round and princess versions of the x prong. Many fans of the x prong opt not to go with the curved band, so that they can wear the band solo when needed (again, if you search here you'll find some psers who choose to go the non-vatche route.) When I get my omc set in the platinum x prong (which is now at the mercy of my bf) I will probably go with either the pave straight vatche band Whiteflash shows or a less-expensive but similar ring found on goldajewerly.com many of these other bands will not fit flush but I think they look perfect and less "matchy." I also am going to get a 3mm plain platinum band to wear when the pave & e-ring just can't be worn. good luck with your search and let us know what you decide on.

Here's a link to VerticalHorizon's post about his .90 Jubilee set in a Vatche X-Prong. LINK Here's a link to the .85 Jubilee I had set in a Vatche Double Prong X-Prong. LINK My bride to be plans to have a plain 3mm comfort fit band. It looked fine next to the e-ring.
