Hi ... Is there another tool that can be used to evaluate a fancy shape diamond???  the holloway cut adviser is for round diamonds... I am looking at a 1.7C emerald cut diamond.. Depth 72.1, Table 72, Crown 12, Pavilion 57.... but I don't know any tool I can use to determine the cut of the diamond... Please help !!!

Ideal-scope helps - AGS use a multi colored version for their fancy cut grading.

You can certanily pick winners and loosers with it. You can find a number of fancies with ideal-scope images  in the Search by Cut Quality tab in the upper left of this screen.

The real killer though is DiamCalc Gem Advisers from 3D scans.

We are waiting for vendors to fill the empty column beside the ideal-scope photo column.
