I wrote previously in here about help in selecting the best stone for my money.  Well I had made a decision, and my order was in.  Today I recieved a phone call from the company explaining that they had made a mistake and the diamond I had orginally chose was already on hold for someone else.  My sales rep. made up for the mistake by finding me a stone with a better girdle, depth, table, and even slightly bigger in the measurements than the first one for the exact same price!  That news made my day!     Once again, thanks for all your help!

Woo hoo!  It's great when a potentially upsetting mistake can be turned around for the better.  Can't wait to see what the ring ends up looking like!!!  Again, great news!

Sounds as if you should give them some public credit here, by telling people who the vendor is.

Glad it all worked out well...

I purchased the diamond and setting through diamond.com... odimor diamonds(sp?).  I was concerned at first about not being able to see the stone first, but the great customer service has now set me as ease.  They're having a special now for so much money off certain amounts spent, and another promotion at the time is an upgrade to free 2 day air mailing.  The only test left now is to actually see the ring!  I'll be sure to keep you guys updated and let you know how it turns out (should be here by next week)  and hopefully post pics!  However, my g/f isn't getting it quite yet, so shhhh!!!
