i think your diamond will always look bigger to the observer.
it is always harder to find a "mind clean" stone than a eye clean stone. |

Dancing Fire you know...you're right! I have a little story to back it up. I've really been feeling like my diamond is a speck and coming to PS just makes me such a freak....I must have BIGGER!!! This weekend we were at a Birthday party for my 2 yr old nephew and sitting on the front porch with friends and family, many who had never seen my anniversary ring. I was talking and I'm always very animated, using my hands, and my diamond must have really been sparkling!! A friend stopped me mid-story and grabbed my hand and said "What is this! That is a beautiful ring!!! When did you get that thing?!" I was feeling so great right then about my ring, my wonderful diamond ring! For the rest of the night one person after another just had to see the ring and many of the ladies would drag me over to their husbands for the unveiling......and to discuss the desire for an upgrade of their own. I was in heaven!!! I am looking at my ring in a whole new light now, and really appreciating what I have. For once I was the girl with the pretty ring

I was trying to tell her that I was waiting for her to settle in first. Didn't know she had hawk eyes. She said "Well, with all that bling it's pretty hard to miss. It's HUGE!"  Dancing Fire , you're absolutely rite!
