I tried one in a solitare about 7 years ago and it has stayed with me ever since. It was in a Platinum bezel.. yummy!!!! But, am having a hard time finding someone that carries nice ones. This is my right hand ring, and I love the rich warm colors and flases of orange and red. It was a little gift to me.

Isn't it amazing how little quality stuff there is available to see in the brown family set stones? We got so exasperated that we decided to separate the e-ring project from the w-band one, exactly because I couldn't visualize encorporating our beloved olive green-champagne-brown-cognac (and back again) progression in one e-ring with an inherited .80 OMC... in 18 K white gold. Upshot is that I've decided to do a separate w-band channel set with these natural fancy diamond colors. I wish I could show you what I'm thinking about.. but you'll just have to wait (over a year!) like I have to.. unless you can find an example of the 'foresty' color progression? I'd love to see examples of custom channel work, but that may be a different thread, non? Thanks!.. just looking at these colors makes me even more sure I'm on the right track. Yes, those are all hand carved ginkgo leaves, with white diamonds. Tom does a wonderful job, he's great to work with. He just does it, if you don't like it send it back. He's really an extrodinary artist. Another source of great champagnes & cognacs is Alex Sepkus, he's on my list of required artist to collect.
