Hi- I am trying to determine what type of band to wear with my engagement ring. I had a band made but I am not happy with it and I am going to have it remade. The problem is, what I had them make is exactly what I thought I wanted. Now I am lost. I don't want it to look too 'grandma' (which is how it appears to me now). I am 25 so I want something that looks a little younger. My center is .75 and the sides are .25 each, pear shaped. A straight band will not sit flush, which might be ok. I don't like the way a solid 'fitted' band would look. I know others out there must have similar style engagement rings and I would like to know what you have done. Thanks!

I also like the w-band with your e-ring. It doesn't seem too "grandmotherish" to me!

I think the band is gorgeous. It looks modern to me.

Hello! I love your rings! I like how they fit together. Maybe smaller stones and two bands made to fit on either side to it kind of encases the e-ring in small diamonds. Does that make sense? I hope so! ![]() Good luck and let us know what you decide!

I think your rings are gorgeous, and not "grandmotherish" AT ALL!!! In fact, my nephew's wife (age 24, very stylish and quite beautiful) has a VERY similar set, and her curved w-ring always catches my eye. I think her set is lovely, too. You need to do what you need to do, of course, but my (very humble!) 2 cents is...consider keeping what you have. Looks like a winner to me! Lynn And THAT'S my story and I'm sticking to it! |

Oh sorry to disagree with everyone but I don't like the matching wedding band curved as it is. I think it takes away too much from your three stone ring. I would get a different band like shared prong, channel, or plain, straight. Good luck!

Kamuelamom has your same e-ring and her matching band has rounds in the middle with a pear on each end. I don't have a picture of it but if you do a search you can find it. Her's fit very close together.
