I have been looking for something to exchange in place of the Emerald cut I returned, but I cannot find anything I like as much as the Flanders! My original plan was to change out my current Interlap flanders cz with a diamond since that is my all-time favorite ring, but that plan went ka-put after seeing them in person. I really, really love the faceting on the Flanders cut, but the performance is mediocre at best. Is that usually the case? Upon comparison, my cz flanders totally blew it away under most lighting conditions... which did not please the jeweler, by the way. Are there any other cuts like it? I love corner-less squares, and i don't like h&a patterns on squares. Radiants are too crushy, and well, that's pretty much it. Grrr. |

I haven't seen either one of them in person but I was wondering if the Jubilee was similar to the Flanders cut but with better light return.

Check out this stone at GOG. Light return seems pretty good. And I bet they could find you some more to look at if you asked. Also, they have other square stones, such as the Jubilee, Queen of Hearts, and Lucere. Plus, it's great to be able have as much information on the stone as they provide right there on the website! Good Luck!

I did see it! But that depth... man. It's tiny! I also considered the Jubilee due to its light return, but i'm not loving the pattern. Gueen and Lucere does't do much more me either. The Flanders have longer & thinner pavillion facets, which is what i'm looking for... kinda like concave faceting on a milder scale? And it also reminds me of a four leaf clover! Guess I should see a Jube in person first... i'm sure pictures do not do it justice!
