I am looking at a 1 1/2 carat elongated cushion cut diamond. The specs are: Color: w-x (natural light yellow) Clarity: SI1 Depth: 63% Table: 60% Measurements: 6.87x6.23x3.94mm Flourescence: Faint (the diamond is a light yellow color) These are the specs I have for now. Will this diamond look larger or smaller than a 1 1/2 ct? What do you think of yellow diamonds?

Yellow diamonds can be gorgeous, especially antique cushions and radiants. This one will look slightly smaller than a round one, but that's the case for a lot of fancy shapes. Do you have a picture ? What about polish and symmetry ? Stephan |

Stephan- I don't have the polish or symmetry yet. What do you think of the measurements? Christine |

These measurements doesn't mean a lot, especially for a cushion. If you want to buy it, you should ask about crown angle, pavilion depth, polish and symmetry. You should ask for a picture too. So we could tell you if we like it. Stephan |

Stephan- I don't have those measurements yet. The stone has to go to GIA. I will ask the jeweler about those measurements. I will post a pic soon. Thanks for all the help.
