halfcarat Rough Rock Total Posts: 5 Last Post: 2/18/2005 Member Since: 2/16/2005	I'll add this info in case someone ever searches like I did: It took me a little bit of looking to find an independent appraiser in the Santa Barbara, California area but I finally found one in Carpinteria. He does not sell diamonds so he doesn't have a conflict of interest. It was my first appriasial so I can't compare, but he seemed to be very thourough.
