Is this a good ring? http://whiteflash.com/Engagement-Rings/Platinum-X-Prong-for-Princess_766.htm# I know very little about engagement rings but am thinking this is the one I want to buy. What do u think? Is it safe to buy from this place?

You should post this in Rocky Talky, you'll get a lot more replies, and there are many people on PS that know lots about princess cuts. Unfortunately I am not one of them! Good luck.

I'm not a big princess fan, but I LOVE what that setting does for the stone. In terms of buying from whiteflash you can do a search for the company in the forum. They have a good reputation on this site. Good Luck! |

![]() I have the xprong with a radiant instead of a princess. Its Gorgeous! ![]() My fiance got it from whiteflash. They custom made the width of the band a little thinner near the stone because my fingers are really small and its a little less metal that way. They were really helpful during his buying process.

Would u rather get the Platinum X-Prong for Princess with a 1ct stone or the White Gold X-Prong for Princess with a 2ct stone?

so, you are trying to decide between settings with an approximate $600 price difference and a stone with a $6000 price difference? why not just get the 2ct. in platinum? .........maybe i'm just confused

No, I think i'm the one who is confused. So just to be clear, the Whiteflash rings aren't priced to include the stone?

Ok, a couple things. Are there places online to purchase nice colored gemstone rings? Also, i've scaled things back a bit and am now looking at this ring... with about a .5 carat diamond Princess Cut... http://www.whiteflash.com/Engagement-Rings/Styles/Solitaire/X-Prong-in-18k-W-Gold-for-Princess_768.htm# Just wondering what people thought and what people thought I should be looking for in terms of G, H Ideal Good VS1, etc., etc for a solid .5carat diamond that would look good with this ring and have some sparkle...that way we can always get a new setting some other time... but i'm also interested in the colored gemstone ring idea and then pickign the ring out together...i'm almost there!!!
