Like the characters from Lord of the Rings, I had no major interest in jewelry until I got the ring, my precious. Them BAM, like a sickness, it came.

I’m 29 years old, and the youngest of 4 girls – my sisters are 7, 8 and 11 years older than me – I was the whoops! My parents ROCK – I am very lucky. I grew up in a little town in Westchester, NY that was only 1square mile and had a graduating class of only 98. Currently live in lower Westchester in a   tiny little  apartment with my fiancé and my lovely Maine Coon cat, Toby.

I work at a Children’s Hospital as an Administrative Assistant and I just passed my Real Estate Exam. I will be partnering up with a company very soon, so if you are looking to buy, you know where to find me!! Before this, I was in textile sales for 5 years, traveled the US and got to see a whole lot of this beautiful country and a whole lot of people who cheat on their spouses – it was real downer to be a single female on the road!

My fiancé and I were engaged about a year ago. We met on-line – I had a personal ad on Match.com. He answered it because I said I loved hockey, and so did he. Our first few dates were NJ Devils games, because we both happened to LVE the same team.  Fast forward to a year and a half later, where he proposed at the hockey hall of fame in front of the Stanley Cup. He proposed with a solitaire and let me pick my setting afterward. It was a good plan, I was surprised, but he knew enough to choose a round stone, and still got to choose the “look” I wanted.

We’ll be getting married in August – we’re having a clambake, a bit casual, no tuxedos, hopefully no shoes, and very hopefully NO UMBRELLAS!

As for my knowledge of jewels, it has grown since I found this place, but I really just like to help people and live VICARIOUSLY through them when they are seeking a new bauble!

You guys are SO FUN, and it's nice to be able to talk anonymously about jewelry without having to worry about people judging you for being snooty or just plain nosey!
