SOCKS Rough Rock Total Posts: 18 Last Post: 2/10/2005 Member Since: 9/17/2004	Hi, I purschased a 2.1 carat diamond and looking to set it in a platinum classic tiffany style setting. I found someone in NY who set the diamond for $850. Is this expensive?

If it includes the mounting it will depend on the details of the mounting that you selected. There are quite a few manufactures of rings that broadly fit that description and the prices vary considerably.
