I stumbled across a emerald cut diamond with a characterstic of a 'crystal'. Is there any significance either way to this? Also, how much of a difference would a emerald cut be from a table of 69 and depth of 64 versus one thats depth 60.4 and table 61? Thanks in advance, this board rocks!

A crystal "might" be eye visible. You need to have a long look at where it is located. Both emerald cuts sound ok. Again, your eyes are important. The shallower stone will have a larger diameter if the weight was the same as the deeper stone. The weight has to go somewhere, either depth or width. Without seeing both these stones I could not tell you which looked better, even potentially. I have spent countless hours working on parameters and charts, but am not afraid to use my eyes or to warn you that you need to do this, too. It is part of the selection process with diamonds.
