I've been MIA for a while, sorry!!! Bad cold and year-end evals at work...

Edited to add: (CANNOT believe I forgot this: setting is platinum filigree with milligrain and 14 small round diamonds bead-set, .21c TW, H (vs??). Designer is Simon G, www.simongjewelry.com... style LP1107!! I can't capture the workmanship with the camera, it's too delicate and intricate. I will try to get my wedding photographer to get some better shots on the big day. Ring size is 4.5)

Here is what I know about the stone: it's a 1.12, E, H+A, VVS2 that he bought in Silicon Valley before he moved to Canada. He has been paying for it for three years and refuses to tell me how much... it's so gorgeous!!!!!!! I really think the pictures do not do it justice. I think it will take me a while to get the hang of it. Practice makes perfect!!!

Stupid camera was in fact stupid me, all I had to do was change the batteries

Gorgeous ring, honeynut!  I love filigree, and the fact that your honey has been paying for the ring for 3 years is soooo beyond sweet!

Congratulations to you and your FI!

Thanks girls!!! You're all so sweet! I too totally love filigree and i keep counting the little diamonds to make sure they're all still there ;)... I am experimenting with different lighting and so far, the elevators at my workplace are the BEST!! Ally, I thought you knew I was from Mtl as well! I keep looking for you in the streets, etc. I saw the halloween pic of you and your boyfriend and was trying to decide, by the look of your porch, where you live on the island!! When you get your ring, you'll ahve to take a ride on the elevators with me in the Sun Life building downtown. Sparklefest!!

Honeynut!

I had no idea you were from montreal. The size of your rock definitely did not give you away! It's HUGE! You know how Canadian girls are more about the smaller diamonds. If I see any girl with that rock, I'll know its you . I always say I'm from Montreal (to other people because that is the only city that is associated with Quebec). I live on the south shore (brossard), about 2 minutes from the Champlain bridge. Since I spent so much time in Montreal, I consider it a technical cheat. Are you having your wedding here? And WHERE?? DO tell. For once I might actually have seen/ been to these places.
