I would like to have an appraisal done to tell me the basics of the diamond I just bought, specifically that this diamond matches the GIA certificate it comes with. Can I have the diamond in its setting to do this? Thanks.

Although it is faster and easier for a diamond to be graded and verified while unmounted, all of the Gemologists are trained and quite capable of grading and verifying a diamond while mounted.
