I am getting my diamond tomorrow and would like to take it to a good appraiser in Portland, OR.  Any recommendations out there?

Thanks.

If you don't have any luck finding someone in Portland, there's an Independent MGA (Master Gemologist Appraiser) 2.5 hours away in Seattle.

Her name is Janet Connors Stevens.

Jewelry Valuation Services
410 Bellevue Way SE, Suite 205
Bellevue, WA 98004
(425) 467-8206

I don't know her personally, but an MGA is usually indicative of someone who has put a lot of effort into education.

Geeez, I'd forgotten about Mona in Portland.  No need to drive 2.5 hours.

Mona Miller-Smith of PGL (Pacific Gemological Laboratory).
