 		Good morning all,

I'm in the process of obtaining an asscher stone through a contact near my hometown in Maine, and I wanted to see if anyone had experiences with appraisers in the greater Augusta area (or anywhere in Maine really).  The person I am purchasing the stone from is not a professional jeweler, and does not offer Sarin reports, Ideal Scope imagery, etc., but does have a relationship with an appraiser in the area.  I just wanted to check and see if there were any recommended ones, given that none are listed under the appraiser resource section.  I am not sure how comfortable my diamond person would be shipping off a stone to someone out of state, such as David Atlas (although that would probably be my preference).
