Those are incredibly cruddy stones. Who knows, maybe the seller bought them in a lot, had them set, and is trying to make a buck.

Unfortunately those aren't the only ones out there. I can't tell you how many I've come across that would have been a 1.50 ct I3x1,000,000 (ok, a little exaggerated ) and still priced out as if I were looking at mine! Wishful thinking on their part. But something isn't right about it at all. I found a lot on bid4assets.com.

I am the farthest thing from an expert, but that ring smells like a fishermans armpitclarity - I2 (slightly included) ![]() if it was slightly included it would be SI. and that pic... there are more spots on that diamond than on your average McDonalds worker's face! ![]() colour - f can anyone see the colour past the inclusions? ![]() cut - round brilliant wow! information overload... so I think we can also assume it is a crappy cut too for $17,000 you could get these from whiteflash in a platinum tiffany setting... a 1.60, a cut above, hearts and arrows cut, F, SI1, for $14500 a 1.77, ideal cut, F, VS2, for $15,500 a 1.89, very good cut, G, VS2, for $15,500 a 2.01, good cut, F, SI1, for $15,000 AND have $1500-$2500 for the wedding dress/wedding/honeymoon/home/kids/whatever --------- |
