AGS, EGL, and others are all different certs that you find when purchasing diamonds. But who has the highest standards? for example: If I was purchasing an ideal cut round diamond that was certified by AGS to be a SI1, H color, Would this be equivelant to an EGL certified VS2, G colored diamond? I guess what I'm asking is: If I'm stuck making a decision based uppon the cert becuase the diamonds are of like quality and price. What cert would you make you lean towards that would confirm your decision? Thanks for your help and opinions.....Andrew |

Welcome to the forum, Drew2xx. You might want to check out the Grading Lab Survey we've done last summer.
