hi, i wasn't sure where to post this so here i am in rocky talky. powers-that-be, you can move this topic to the appropriate place if you wish.

so i have my beautiful ring (pics coming soon, i promise!!! my brother didn't send me the pictures yet!!!) but it's a tad too big for me. it's a size 7 (i think i have chubby fingers compared to the sizes 4s and 5s here on this board!) but i think i'm somewhere between a 6.5 and 7. it doesn't fall off when i fling my hand around, but it does turn around on my finger freely. it's got baguette side stones so my fiance is concerned about resizing. also, we want the matching wedding band from the same company (union diamond) but don't know anything about resizing it somewhere local then trying to match the band to the e-ring........

sigh. too many questions. i am very inexperienced with this kind of stuff. oh yeah, it's 14k white gold.

also, does anyone know about jewelry cleaners? i want to clean my ring myself, if that's safe, and i also want to give one to my mom, whose stone is pitifully dirty all the time (she doesn't want to pay to have a jeweler clean it). any ideas?

DietVanillaCoke.

There is a thread (2) threads on here for the Salton Jewelry Spa.  Most of its owners sing its praises, you should check it out.  As for sizing...i'd wait awhile and see how the weather or other things affect your finger size.  In the meantime, if the spin bothers you, you can use a ringuard (which you can probably buy somewhere like Claire's).. then, if you notice with time that the ring is too big, you can have it resized, or have sizing beads installed inside the shank of the ring (to not risk hurting the baguettes)... For your wedding band, you want them to be the same size so that they will look good together.

Good LUck!
