Hi guys, first post, but i've been trolling this site for a few months now. I'm shopping for an engagement ring (pretty obvious) and I was wondering what you all thought of this: http://www.bluenile.com/diamonds_details.asp?shortnamelink=1&pid=LD00239070 What do you think it will look like on a platinum solitaire setting? I'm worried that J may be too yellow, but size matters and so does my budget so I'm semi-limited. I appreciate any feedback. |

I think you'd be fine going down to a J, but you may want to consider going through another company to get a better deal before dropping in color. I worked with Denise from White Flash and saved a TON of money, and other people have liked working with Mark from Engagement Rings Direct, Jonathan from Good Old Gold, Wink Jones, and Robin and Todd from Nice Ice. You can even contact these people and get the same stone for a lot less if it's a listed stone! Just something to keep in mind

Researcher, I've been on this site a few days and have heard these names before. How do I go about contacting these individuals? Just call the companies and ask for them or do they have profiles on this website? Thanks for any help. Fiance to be

thanks a lot for your help. So is Blue Nile one of the more expensive places to shop? I have checked a lot of different websites, including some you recommend and haven't found much of a price difference. Are the prices different if I talk direct to someone? Also, is there an online resource that has pictures side by side of the different color range of diamonds? I haven't found one and was just wondering if someone has found one before. Thanks for all the help.
