Advice on where to go in LA/Orange County?

Finally Decisive! Cut Rock Total Posts: 469 Last Post: 1/13/2008 Member Since: 10/10/2004	I'm going to be travelling to California in a week (staying in Anaheim) for almost a month, and wanted to go "shiny" browsing while I'm there! Can anyone recommend where to go in LA or somewhere in the OC to check out: Daniel K (yes, I've contacted them about stockists but they haven't gotten back to me. I want to try on the Union Square asscher cut) Michael B (I do know of a jeweller in South Coast Plaza that stocks his stuff) Loose diamonds - emerald cut, asschers, cushions, jubilee and possibly regent? Possibly also some coloured stones of the light icy blue variety (topaz or sapphires etc) _____________________________________________ [Formerly Indecisive ... not anymore!]

There are a zillion vendors up there selling loose diamonds and settings, all concentrated in a couple square blocks. Some vendors sold only coloured stones while most sold diamonds only. I was looking for diamond pendants, so i didn't really look at the loose diamonds that much though. Check out www.lajd.com for the location. Chinatown is also really close by to the jewelry district if you want some good chinese food.
