I have had my engagement ring for about a year. When I shake my hand or tap on the ring near my ear I hear a little rattling noise. Does this mean my diamond could fall out?

That is generally an indicator that the prongs are loose. Take it to a jeweler. THey should be able to easily tighten them -- often while you wait.

Most likely. Take it in to your jeweler to have it examined. Most jewelers offer this service free and often while you wait. Remember, you ring should be checked for bi-yearly to prevent the stone from falling out.
