Hi there, Can anyone recommend a setting for a 1.10 carat princess cut diamond that will protect the corners? I've been told that the corners are prone to chipping and that I could have them "bevelled" so that they don't pose a problem. I don't want to do that as the diamond will lose weight and just won't be a princess cut anymore. Can anyone recommend a setting (other than bezel) to protect the corners? I would greatly appreciate it!!

I think it is called a cheveron setting. It has V's on each prong which fit around each corner of the stone. I think it looks very pretty that way. |
