Hi, I'm looking for an engagement ring. My spec is the following. Brilliant Round, D-F, VVS1-SI1, 0.7-0.8, very good cut. 6 or 4 prong undecided. I live in Zurich, Switzerland. Questions. Can I fully trust any online sites? (which ones?) Should I drive up to Antwerp? (12h round trip) Should I just bite the bullet and go to the local jewelers? Thanks Rich

Sites that are Price Scope members that list a good return policy (30 day) and a lot of information about in-house diamonds are generally a wonderful place to get a stone with a better quality cut than most for less money. If you use the Search by Cut feature of this site, you'll find quite a few stones in your range, from 0.70 F SI1 very good cut for USD$2340 to larger stones with higher color and clarity all the way up to over USD$4K
