I'm really a newbie and don't know all the terms yet but am trying to learn. I've seen references to the term 'interlap' and also 'asha' diamonds. What does this mean? Thanks for your help.

Both are Cubic Zirconias. Interlaps are very inexpensive...maybe $10 a carat or so and Ashas are very expensive...about $400 a carat, I believe. Ashas have a diamond-type of coating that they claim adds to the look of the stone but many people do not think that they are worth the price.

I figured that they must not be the 'real' thing but I just didn't know who else to ask. Thanks a bunch!
