I read many of his books long time ago in Russian and loved it a lot. Now when Jenny started reading Kurt Vonnegut (she's taking writer's craft classes in school) I bought several books in English. Maybe it's just me but reading Cat's Cradle is like a meditation. Any other Vonnegut' fans out there? Bonus link: interesting interview (January 2003) with Vonnegut about war in Iraq: Kurt Vonnegut vs. the !&#*!@. You should read Slaughterhouse-Five first to fully appreciate it.

I love Vonnegut. Quite possibly my favorite writer. Cat's Cradle is terrific (ICE 9!). So thought provoking in an accessible way! VH (aka GroomZilla) |
