I have been researching for a while now...I have the basic 4 c's down pat...but how will i know if the diamond is actually any good. I know most people post the 'stats' on here, and more knowledgeable (i think) people say, 'that's a nice diamond', etc...but is there more? I don't think I'll get good enough soon enough to know how to read into the diamond's angles and cutlets, and all that other stuff...thanks

The HCA has been a good source for me to determine a diamond with out seeing it. You really need to see each diamond, not just for the cut but also the quality. Never commit to a diamond site unseen. The Iceman

As I understand, HCA is a good indicator of which diamonds to look at but a low score doesnt mean it is better than another score when talking below 2 right. Ok but what exactly does it mean ? The lower score has been cut as ideally as possible technically ?
