I just ordered a tiffany solitaire setting from EngagementRingsDirect. Prior to that I was gonna go with NiceIce but because ERD is in my area I opted to go with them. My question is do they all get it from the same maker/company/jeweler? ERD said that Superbcert gets it from the same place. ERD is also chargning basically the same price as NiceIce. I also looked in DirtCheapDiamonds and they have the same setting for about the same price as well. Are they all getting the tiffany replica from the same place? ![]() ![]() |

Hi alexah. I went with the GIA 1.11ct J SI2. Mark said it was more brilliant that the first one that I asked about. Even though the Polish/Symmatry was EX/EX, it scored 2.6 on HCA giving Very Good down the line. I am still very happy with my purchase and trusts Mark's judgement. I also like the fact that the measurements on the stone is slightly more. I think overall it's a great stone for a good price. Here is the Sarin report: AGS 2 Diam. 6.70mm (6.67-6.74)[1.1%] depth. 4.08mm 60.9% crown 32.3' 13.3% 2 pavil 41.4' 43.5% 0 table 3.80mm 56.8% 0 culet 0.8% Small 0 girlde 2.2% (1.8-2.7)% I was hoping that Mark would have some tools to take close-up pictures of the stone but he doesn't have them yet but plans on getting those tools.

marv117, Nice stone. Most suppliers sell to more than one outlet and most stores will buy from more than one supplier. This leaves room for a fair amount of overlap where a particular stone may be available at several different stores but the dealers actually have substantially different selections. You just came across one that is widely available. Neil Beaty, GG ISA Independent Appraisals in Denver There's never a crowd when you go that extra mile. |
