treysar Ideal Rock Total Posts: 935 Last Post: 4/29/2009 Member Since: 6/5/2004	I'm having a clam bake wedding in August of 2005. My question is 2fold. 1. Any ideas for beachy invitations? Making them myself, so it has to be reasonably prices! 2. I know that I can't write anything about dress code on the invitation, but how can i get across to people that my wedding is causal, but not jeans and sneakers, more like khakis and sundresses, etc. What is good wording for that type of dress? We're having a small beach wedding next May on Folly Beach, SC and plan for it to be dress casual as well. Besides talking to everyone about the dress code we'll probably put a reminder note in with the invitations.

Would have loved to have gone w/ Cranes or William Arthur, but just couldn't justify spending an extra $1K on something people other than us would just throw away eventually...We looked all over the place for beachy invites that were not tacky or shiny. Finally found very subtle ones at a company called nu-art breeze, I think they're a division of rexcraft. I'll keep looking...and by the way, great ring and great taste in wedding decor!! klr i just looked, they're from a division of birchraft...but I couldn't find them...sorry. The point is though, you can get invites cheap that look nice!
