Is it true that 1 speck of dirt can turn an emerald cut into nothing but the look of glass. Is this cut especially hard work in the cleaning factor to maintain beauty. Interested in knowing your preferences in order of most liked out of all these 3 cuts. a. emerald b. princess c. radiant sparkles

I don't think 1 speck of dirt will turn a diamond into anything it wasn't before. Cut quality is everything. That being said, dirt will likely affect an emerald cut more than some others. The shape thing is just personal preference. The emerald cut is much different than the others. I would probably prefer a radiant to a princess.
